Hemorrhoids
Introduction
How are hemorrhoids different in children compared to adults?
The natural history of hemorrhoids in children is poorly understood because this condition is rare in the pediatric population. Only a handful of peer reviewed studies have been published and many are case series, narrative reviews based on expert opinion or descriptions of the condition using data extrapolated from the adult literature [1][2][3].
