Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic esophageal dysfunction disorder caused by eosinophilic mediated inflammation of the esophagus. The condition is rapidly increasing in incidence and prevalence [1]. This increase has focused attention on the disorder with advances in diagnosis and management, identification of EoE risk factors, and pathogenesis. In 2025, the American College of Gastroenterology Clinical Guidelines regarding EoE were updated [1].
